Smoke and Fire Curtains
The purpose of a fire curtain is to seal off an area to contain a fire and to prevent it from spreading. It operates automatically when interfaced with the building fire alarm system.
Comprised of a flexible fire-resistant fabric that is mounted into a headbox, the fire curtain can be installed hidden above the ceiling. In the event of a fire, the automatic fire curtain deploys receiving a signal from a fire detection system to seal off an opening.
